It’s pretty straightforward really and we’ll go at the pace that suits you. The steps involved are:

• Initial meeting to discuss your requirements. We’ll talk about your products or services and which audiences you are aiming to reach
• If you already have a website or search engine optimisation, we’ll discuss how well it’s working for you and what could improve
• Then we’ll prepare a detailed proposal for your consideration, including costs and a timetable
• We’ll meet with you again to go through the proposal and make any adjustments
• If you decide to proceed, we’ll complete the order paperwork, discuss what website address (known as a URL) you want or the transfer arrangements for your existing website
• We take 50% deposit with the order and the balance when the site is ready to go live
• We’ll keep you informed every step of the way and gain your approval for the design, look and feel of your website
• Depending on the complexity of your website, it will take about 6/8 weeks to develop from the date of order. For very straightforward brochure sites, it can be much quicker
• Before it goes live, we’ll arrange to train you on the use of the content management system, so that you can keep your website fresh and up to date
• If you want us to do the updating for you, we can arrange that at reasonable cost
• When everything is ready, we’ll arrange for the website to go live and give you some advice on how to let your customers know and promote it more widely

That’s not the end of it though. We don’t just deliver great new websites and walk away. For as long as we host your website, you will benefit from our support.  You can contact your named Britnett consultant during office hours for help, advice or queries and there’s an out of office hours number for emergencies. This customer service is also backed up by Britnett head office during holidays etc.
