Use the internet to increase sales during the economic downturn
UK internet development company Britnett has expanded its sales and consultancy division with the appointment of local marketing expert, Sandra Burke. Her business, Macbritnett, works with local companies, voluntary and other organisations to provide powerful and dynamic websites and a range of marketing support services. Sandra is an award-winning marketer, well known throughout Angus, Dundee and Fife for her previous economic development work with Scottish Enterprise, the Care Commission and on the Dundee City of Discovery campaign. She joins a growing team of Britnett operators who already successfully manage and support 3000 business websites across the UK. Sandra said: We simplify the process of making the internet work for all kinds of enterprises. Whether that means building a new or improved website, search engine optimisation, onsite internet training or help with other marketing communication channels. Our websites come with an easy to use content management system as standard, plus secure online shopping that is very easy to set up and much less expensive than it was just a couple of years ago. The reality is that almost anyone with a good business idea can afford a world-class website these days. She continued in the current tough trading conditions, some businesses might be tempted to scale back their marketing efforts, but the Federation of Small Businesses instead reports that 43% of respondents to their bi-annual survey improved their sales by a fifth, just by using their websites much more cleverly. The team at Macbritnett is geared up to help businesses in Angus, Dundee and Fife do even better. Find out how at www.macbritnett.co.uk
